As with other events which impact on Australia and Australians, the National Library has a project to collect material which documents the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Paralympics and associated events.
Material collected by the National Library on the 2000 Sydney Olympics includes books, journals, newsletters, kits, posters, photographs and ephemera.
Material in the ephemera collection includes media information, postcards, fact sheets, brochures, programmes, letters, advertising and promotional material, leaflets, speeches and material printed from the Internet.
Material in the Pictorial Collection includes over 2000 photographs.
A wide variety of Internet sites relating to the Olympics and Paralympics have also been archived in the PANDORA Archive.
