To begin a catalogue search:
Use this search technique when the exact newspaper or journal title is known. For example if searching for the Northern Territory News, this is what you would do:

Use this search technique when the exact newspaper title is not known or only some of the words are known. For example if searching for the Australian Soccer Weekly and the known information was Australian and soccer, this is what you would do:

Use this search technique when a newspaper title is a single word or a single word preceded by articles such as 'the' and 'a' etc. For example if searching for The Australian, this is what you would do:

Use this search technique when searching for newspapers in microfilm or microfiche format. For example if searching for the microfilm version of the Courier Mail, this is what you would do:

Use this search technique when the newspaper call number is known. For example if searching for The Canberra Times in microfilm format, this is what you would do:
