American National BiographyOxford University Press: American National Biography is a fully searchable resource offering portraits of more than 18,000 men and women, from all eras and walks of life, who have made an impact on the American nation. Biographical entries include illustrations, hyperlinked cross-references and links to select Web sites. The database is updated quarterly and is the online version of the print resource, "American National Biography" which is available in the Main Reading Room reference collection at RF 920.073 A512.
Annual Reports OnlineAspect Financial Pty Ltd: This research tool offers access to Australian companies' annual reports dating back to 1995. It also provides access to the full documentation of Australian Stock Exchange announcements from October 1998 to today, including prospectuses. These announcements are updated continually throughout the day.

AustLit: The Resource for Australian LiteratureAustLit is a key resource for information about Australian writers and writing covering the 1780s to the present. AustLit provides a combination of enhanced biographical and bibliographical information and the full text of critical articles, creative writing and information resources about many aspects of Australia's literary heritage. AustLit also provides specialist research and information subsets, including Black Words: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Writers and Story Tellers, which contains biographical, bibliographical and full text material relating to Australian Indigenous cultures of literature and story. Other AustLit subsets cover children's literature, drama and popular theatre, multicultural writers, Australian magazine history, and Banned Books.

Biography Resource CenterGale Group: This resource combines biographies from over 880 volumes of more than 135 Gale Group sources such as Contemporary Authors, Encyclopedia of World Biography, Newsmakers, Contemporary Theatre, Film, and Television, Contemporary Musicians, Historic World Leaders, Notable Twentieth-Century Scientists, Contemporary Black Biography, Religious Leaders of America, International Dictionary of Art and Artists, and Writers Directory, with full-text articles from magazines such as American History, The Christian Century, Saturday Night, and U.S. News & World Report.
Book Review DigestH.W. Wilson: Book Review Digest, is a bibliographic database that cites and provides excerpts of reviews of current English-language fiction and nonfiction books for children and adults. An abstract of each book is also provided. Periodical coverage includes leading magazines from the United States, Canada and Great Britain. To be indexed in Book Review Digest, a book must have been published or distributed in the United States or Canada. A work of nonfiction must have received reviews in two or more of the periodicals on the Book Review Digest selection list. A work of fiction must have received reviews is at least three of the periodicals. An exception is made for books reviewed in the Reference Books Bulletin section of Booklist. For these books one review is sufficient. Reviews must have appeared within 18 months after a book was published, and at least one review must be from a periodical published in the United States or Canada. Reviews of textbooks, government publications, and technical books in the law and sciences are excluded. Also available in print from 1906 at RF 015.73 B00.
British periodicals online collections I and IIProQuest: Traces the development and growth of the periodical press in Britain from its origins in the seventeenth century through to the Victorian 'age of periodicals' and beyond. On completion this unique digital archive will consist of almost 500 periodical runs published from the 1680s to the 1930s, comprising six million keyword-searchable pages and forming an unrivalled record of more than two centuries of British history and culture. British Periodicals Collection I consists of more than 160 journals that comprise the UMI microfilm collection Early British Periodicals, the equivalent of 5,238 printed volumes containing approximately 3.1 million pages. Topics covered include literature, philosophy, history, science, the fine arts and the social sciences. British Periodicals Collection II consists of more than 300 journals from the UMI microfilm collections English Literary Periodicals and British Periodicals in the Creative Arts together with additional titles, amounting to almost 3 million pages. Topics covered include literature, music, art, drama, archaeology and architecture.
