1. FreeLabordoc

International Labor Organisation: Labordoc contains references to a wide range of print and electronic publications, including journal articles, from countries around the world, on all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development and human rights. Labordoc provides an ever increasing number of links to online publications available on the Internet. Documents are also available via the National Library's catalogue, as NLA is a depository library for ILO publications.

Institute of Social History (The Netherlands): Part of the WWW Virtual Library History Network, this is a substantial listing of labour and business history sites on the Internet.

3. FreeLandgate : Western Australian Place Names and Addressing

Government of Western Australia: Provides information on the GEONAMA data set which is unavailable online. Contact details listed. Links to "History of country town names" and "History of metropolitan suburb names" provide a summary of origins of names.

4. FreeLaw and Policy Institutions

This site provides access to legal and legislative information. In addition to American legal topics, information is provided on significant international treaties, journals, and legal databases ranging from antiquity to the present and representing all nationalities. The Article Database contains articles of original research, analysis and expression with wide appeal and an emphasis on contemporary legal developments.

5. FreeLaw reports and court records: print resources

National Library of Australia: The National Library holds law reports published in Australia from 1825. Historical sets of law reports are also held for many overseas countries. Court records include unpublished decisions, transcripts of proceedings (verbatim accounts of statements given during the course of proceedings), letters, lists of trials, depositions, circulars, bench books etc. They may cover the topics of wills (grants of probate or letters of administration), divorce, bankruptcy, civil and criminal cases, naturalisation, newspaper registrations and conscientious objectors.

National Library of Australia: Libraries Australia is a vast catalogue containing more than 40 million books, journals, newspapers, pictures, maps and more, located in over 800 Australian libraries. It allows you to search the holdings of state, public, government, academic and school libraries using a simple "Google-style" search. Libraries Australia is free to search for anyone from any location, but if you are in a library with a subscription to Libraries Australia, such as the National Library, you will have access to enhanced features such as advanced searching, alerts and saved searches.

Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloguing, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s
