Asahi Shinbunsha: Index of the headlines of newspaper articles, in one of the most authoritative newspapers in Japan, 'Asahi Shinbun'. The newspaper itself is held in microfilm format and is accessible through the Newspaper Reading Room at Call Number mfm X 108.
AsianLII - Asian Legal Information InstituteAsianLII provides for searching and browsing databases of legislation, case-law, law reform reports, law journals and other legal information, where available, from all 27 countries and territories in Asia . Over 140,000 cases from at least 15 countries, and over 15,000 pieces of legislation from at least 18 countries are searchable. For every country, AsianLII contains an extensive Catalog of law-related websites for that country, and a Law on Google facility assisting users to search Google only for legal materials from that country.

Asia on the Web - Digital Resources for Asian StudiesBarbara Nelson (ANU Library) and Wan Wong (National Library of Australia): This listing includes comprehensive subject gateways, indexes, databases (some full text), news, Australian resources, e-journals, digitisation projects, online archives, blogs under the following headings - Asia, China, Japan, Korea, North Korea, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Asia / India. Sites for specific countries and regions that are accessible through the general Asia sites have not been listed separately for each country or region. Both freely accessible sites and subscription only sites have been included. General comprehensive sites, such as Yahoo and Google, have been omitted as these are well known and not Asia-specific.
Association for Asian Studies, Inc.: Bibliography of Asian studies online has replaced publication of the annual volumes of the Bibliography of Asian studies since 1991. It encompasses the full content of the annual printed volumes from 1971 to 1991 and in addition, there are many references to publications after 1991, including citations to all articles from the 100 most-used journals in Asian studies (nearly up to the present in many cases) and a substantial number of additional citations from earlier years in South Asian studies. Compilation of entries continues and the data is augmented regularly, with the intention of bringing it up to date as quickly as possible. Browsing by journal title, broad subject classification and geographical area in addition to specific term search.
Informit: The Bibliography of Indonesian Politics and the Economy (BIPE), produced by the School of Asian Studies, University of Sydney, is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts items on Indonesian politics, government, economy, political culture and demography. Source documents include books, book chapters, journal articles and dissertations. Note that the original source material is usually in either English or Indonesian.

Informit: INDBIO is a database containing details of the members of India's lower-house (the Lok Sabha) of Parliament elected between 1977 and 1991. The database includes biographical information provided by the members of parliament, and includes death dates, references to obituary notices, and notes about recent events in legislators' careers. INDBIO provides a comprehensive dictionary of the men and women who have been India's legislators since 1977.
