1. FreeAANRO : Australian Agriculture and Natural Resources Online

Infoscan: AANRO provides bibliographic and research information on Australian agriculture and natural resource management. It contains descriptions of research projects and publications covering land and water resources, agriculture and forestry. Publications indexed include journals, government publications, newsletters, websites and current research. Links to the full text of documents are provided where available. AANRO incorporates the superseded databases ABOA (Australian Bibliography of Agriculture), ARRIP (Australian Rural Research in Progress), CARRP (Completed Australian Rural Research Projects) and Streamline, which are also available on the Informit subscription service, Agriculture & Natural Resources Online. Access is also provided to Geosearch, which contains keyword and geographic searching for drainage divisions, catchments areas, and agro-ecological regions.

ACT Planning and Land Authority: The ACT Planning and Land Authority is responsible for the naming of public places in the ACT (nomenclature). Public places include districts, divisions (suburbs), streets, parks and geographical features. This part of the ACT Planning and Land Authority web site includes general information on Canberra's place names, names Acts, naming policies, origins of district and suburb names and the Place Names Committee.

Informit: AEI is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts journal articles, monographs, research reports, theses, conference papers, legislation, parliamentary debates, newspaper articles, tests and web. Articles and reports by Australian authors or about Australian education published in overseas sources are also included. Subject coverage includes curriculum, educational research, information science, librarianship, management, policy administration, psychology, sociology, teaching and training. It has links to the payment facilities for records that have full text available. These links go directly to an online e-commerce facility set up by ACER. Indigenous Studies Program, The University of Melbourne: The Agreements, Treaties and Negotiated Settlements (ATNS) project is an ARC Linkage project examining treaty and agreement-making with Indigenous Australians and the nature of the cultural, social and legal rights encompassed by past, present and potential agreements and treaties. The project also examines the process of implementation and the wider factors that promote long term sustainability of agreement outcomes. The ATNS database is an online gateway which links together current information, historical detail and published material relating to agreements made between Indigenous people and others in Australia and overseas. The ATNS database is designed for the use of Indigenous and other community organisations, researchers, government and industry bodies.
